About us
The Bonafide Advocator Initiative (BOFAI)
is a non-governmental organisation established in 2019 to promote social justice , enhance access to justice, reduce inequalities and create lasting opportunities for marginalised individuals in correctional centres. Through our legal aid, mentoring and aftercare programmes, we are committed to supporting marginalised individuals from their time in correctional homes to their successful reintegration into the society.
At BOFAI, we believe that providing education, mentoring and support to persons in correctional centres, we help them rebuild their lives and reintegrate successfully into the society. The corresponding impacts of our acts are reduced recidivism, stronger communities and brighter futures.
